Detailed Guide

13 sections, step by step

1. Creating a Book

Start a new flip-book from scratch.

  1. 1Tap the Create tab in the bottom navigation.
  2. 2Enter a title for your flip-book — this becomes its display name.
  3. 3Optionally upload a cover image (PNG or JPEG). It appears in the library grid.
  4. 4Optionally pick background music from the built-in library or upload your own MP3. It loops while the book is open.
  5. 5Tap Create book to save and jump straight to the editor.

2. Uploading Pages

Add the images that make up your book.

  1. 1In the editor, tap Upload pages.
  2. 2Select multiple image files at once (PNG or JPEG).
  3. 3Pages upload in the background and are sorted automatically by filename.
  4. 4A progress bar shows how many images are left to process.
  5. 5Once complete, pages appear in the grid and the book is ready to read.
  6. 6Designing your own pages? Follow the sizing guide in section 3 below — 3:4 portrait, 2000 × 2666 px recommended.

3. Page Sizing & Design

Recommended dimensions for designing your pages.

One page
3:4 portrait

Two-page spread
(two separate images)

Page shape
Portrait, 3 : 4 ratio (width : height)
Minimum size
1000 × 1333 px
Recommended size
2000 × 2666 px
Print quality
At the recommended size, pages print at about A4 (150 dpi) or A5 (300 dpi)
File format
PNG or JPEG, saved in sRGB colour
  • 1Design every page as one 3:4 portrait image — the viewer fits it into the page frame edge-to-edge, with no cropping.
  • 2The first two and last two pages are covers. Page 3 is the first numbered page readers see.
  • 3Landscape or square artwork? Place it centred on the 3:4 canvas with your own margin — the frame stays consistent across the book.
  • 4Margins, borders, and captions aren't added automatically — build them into the image itself.
  • 5A page that isn't 3:4 will be shown smaller inside the frame (letterboxed), so match the ratio for full-bleed pages.
  • 6Higher resolution pays off when readers zoom in — 2000 × 2666 px stays sharp on every screen.
